Favourite view from quarantine?
I have really nice french doors leading to my balcony. I sit as close as possible to get natural light throughout the day.
What were you doing before quarantine?
Getting my MBA at Rotman School of Management in Toronto.
What are you doing now?
Still getting my MBA at Rotman, but everything has moved online now for the foreseeable future. I'm also working on some freelance PR projects this summer.
What is your beauty must-have?
I've recognized that while certain ingredients are great for skin, the most important thing is to nourish and hydrate - even if you have oily skin. I absolutely cannot live without two products these days - Amandine Sol Botanicals Inner Glow Face Oil and Dr. Sebagh Rose de Vie face mask. I apply both liberally every night.
What is your favourite WFH snack?
I’ve been eating an entire avocado every single day. I sometimes sprinkle hot sauce and parmesan cheese on top. Sounds weird but it's delicious and very filling.
Are there any wellness rituals that you have been using?
I start every day with Melissa Wood Health's app - I typically do anywhere between a 25-35 minute flow. It's the best way to start the day. I also make a point of getting out for a walk every afternoon. I set a time and leave my apartment at that time no matter what. I think it's super important to get fresh air. I also have been taking care of my skin religiously - I do face masks constantly and lather my skin up in nourishing products all day and just let it breathe - haven't worn makeup in 3 months!
Given the choice, would you continue to WFH?
I think it's great that I've been able to successfully work from home right now, but I wouldn't choose this as a day-to-day. I thrive off of social interaction and find I'm the most efficient and creative when around other people.
