The Farmhouse Edit: Edition 02

Hi friends!

Welcome to the second edition of The Farmhouse Edit: a weekly edit of the things I’m loving from products to recipes and everything in between. Let’s dive in!

What We’re Listening To:

This week we listened to The Blonde Files Podcast featuring guest Dr. Jordan Geller, an endocrinologist, who gave us great insight into hormones, PCOS and daily tweaks we can make to reduce hormone imbalances. Our biggest takeaway: ditch the plastic cutting board and non stick coated cookware.

What We’re Cooking:

The Farm Honey is FINALLY back so we’re making all things honey: yoghurt parfaits drizzled in honey, honey buttered toast, and of course Honey Buns. Our viral Honey Bun recipe is as mouth watering as ever, and tastes a little different every year based on the honey harvest. This year is fresh, floral and so sweet.

What We’re Watching:

We must preface this by saying: TikTok influenced us and there’s a writers strike. Important to note because this movie isn’t the finest, but it is a perfect comedic relief with great actors and an absurd plot line. The options aren’t great, so grab a glass of wine, gummy or bestie who makes you giggle to watch The Out-Laws.

What Beauty We’re Loving:

e.l.f Clear Brow Lift is awarded with our fav product of the week. Affordable, effective, non-sticky brow gel, need we say more? Pro tip: buy a little spooly brush and bend it to one side to not only feel like a pro but apply your brow gel like a magician. It’s not sticky, it stays all day, and it’s super portable.

What’s Fresh:

We all endeavour to eat what’s in season so here’s a quick list of what fruits and veggies are ACTUALLY fresh come fall and will be the star of any recipe: figs, plums, grapes, potatoes (duh), raspberries, cantaloupe, shrooms, apples (also duh), eggplant, swiss chard, red currants, green beans, cauliflower and peppers.

Until next week! xo Amandine
