Beauty I'm Loving:
Now that we’re all hooked on tretinoin and the Zo Enzymatic Peel you might notice your skin is flaking at a rapid rate. This is totally normal and part of our skin regenerating and revealing soft, smooth, bright skin underneath. Our next step is a physical exfoliant - we want something with a very gentle grit to physically remove the dry skin, otherwise it will build up and cause new issues and makes us look like we’re molting. Enter the Zo Exfoliating Polish; this is a gentle micro-crystal exfoliation that we can use 1-2 times per week to remove that flaking skin. A good weekly sequence is to use tretinoin 1-3 times per week, the enzymatic peel 1-2 times per week and the exfoliation 2-3 times per week. I found this kit on the Zo site that I just ordered because it’s a great combination of products for the price. I will be using this entire kit and made us a routine to follow below!

Recipe I'm Loving:
I have been wanting to try making Elote for the longest time and finally attempted it last night. It is as good as it looks and I will certainly be grilling it up many more times this summer! These humble ingredients are perfectly combined to create a delicious, balanced side dish that is sure to impress. Get ready to level up your grilling this summer!
Elote (Street Corn) Recipe
Ingredients:
3 ears fresh corn, shucked
1.5 tbs mayonnaise
1 lime
1/4 teaspoon ancho chile powder (I used regular chili powder)
Sea salt, as needed
Pepper, as needed
1/4 cup crumbled cotija cheese (can sub feta)
A handful of fresh cilantro, chopped
Directions:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Place the corn directly on the grates and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, turning every few minutes, until the kernels are tender and you have some good char in spots.
While the corn grills, stir together the mayonnaise, lime zest, chili powder, salt and pepper in a small bowl until smooth.
As soon as the corn comes off the grill, brush each ear generously with the mayonnaise mixture while still hot — this is what makes it. Finish with a shower of cheese and cilantro, and serve immediately with lime wedges alongside for squeezing.

Entertainment I'm Loving:
If you loved The Wedding People, go back to where Alison Espach started. The Adults follows Emily Vidal from fourteen years old through her twenties — a coming-of-age story set against the backdrop of a crumbling suburban Connecticut family, a disastrous birthday party, and a series of decisions that make complete sense in the moment and none at all in hindsight. What makes it extraordinary is the writing. Espach has a way of capturing something true about being a woman — about growing up, making the wrong choices, and figuring out who you are anyway. I started this yesterday and already can’t put it down.

Find of the Week:
This product has cult status for good reason: great application, incredible glow, accessible price point, wears beautifully on the skin BUT the real hook is how to apply it properly. Most people use it as a foundation or apply it to the entire face under the foundation. This will give us a tin-man inspired full face glow that does nothing for our features or facial dimension. The best way to use it is more like a contour - get it in 1-2 shades darker than your skin (I got 5.5) and apply it around the cheek bone and hairline, then gently blend. This will give us a gorgeous glow right where we want it and subtle definition. Often the best part of an incredible product is the application method, and where we can miss the hardest.
