The Farmhouse Edit: Edition 85

Hi friends!

Welcome to the 85th edition of The Farmhouse Edit: where we share what we’ve been coveting and discovering, from the best of beauty and beyond. Let’s dive in!

Beauty I'm Loving:

I am taking a stance against overly glossed lips. I am so bored of every brand launching a subtly different lip gloss and the internet losing their minds that they must have it. I am loving a nice matte lipstick in the right shade for our skin tone. I personally find a dusty rose to be my perfect “my lips but better”. The trick is application: instead of just swiping the colour directly onto our lips, we need to dab it on, then using your fingers and/or a fluffy eyeshadow brush, press and buff it into every part of your lip. This will give it the perfect blotted, lived-in look and avoid the pitfall of making our lips look super small. Linking some favs here!

Recipe I'm Loving:

I’f you’ve been here a while (which most of you have) you may recognize this recipe. These Chipotle Chicken Burgers have been a staple in my house for years now and come spring they’re the perfect light burger. The crunchy, fresh corn relish, deliciously spicy chipotle mayo and super tender chicken burgers are so satisfying - everyone will love them.

Entertainment I'm Loving:

If you enjoy a little absurdity with your evening TV, HBO’s Neighbors is an easy recommendation. The series dives into real-life disputes between neighbors — over everything from property lines to pets — and the situations escalate in ways that are both baffling and hilarious. What makes it so entertaining is how relatable it all feels. Everyone is so passionate about their patch of land, their fence, their rules. It’s a funny little reminder of how seriously we humans take the smallest things.
Light, slightly ridiculous, and very watchable. Perfect for a cozy night in.

Find of the Week:

Spring shopping is my superbowl. There are so many different outfits we can finally put together now that we have warmer temps but not yet sweltering heat that forces us into only sundresses. Enter the transitional sweater. These perfectly chic merino wool cardigans are the perfect spring accessory - over a white tee or tank, around your shoulders, tied around your waist. They layer without bulking to give any outfit a perfect laidback complexity. Her equally as cool cousin is the cashmere blend turtleneck - its a semi-sheer, ultra-soft top that is again perfect for layering or wearing on its own to get you from winter blues to spring spirit.
