Beauty I'm Loving
I got a bit too excited testing out numerous new skincare products at once, only to end up with very inflamed, irritated and dry skin. This means its time to eliminate everything and go back to basics. I have been using the Avene Cicalfate Cream and it has REALLY helped to soothe and hydrate my angry skin. I’ll apply a liberal amount then put my Eye Petals on top of the really rough and irritated patches around my nose for a super targeted treatment. Remember, Eye Petals can be used anywhere that needs extra attention!

Recipe I'm Loving
These aren’t your grandmas rice krispie sqaures - this is a holiday take on the viral gourmet rice krispie square recipe. They are the perfect holiday treat: sweet, salty, with incredible depth from the browned sugar, and so simple to make. Top them with festive sprinkles of your choice and they’re perfect for gifting, sharing or devouring at the kitchen counter.
Best Rice Krispie Recipe
Ingredients:
- ½ cup butter (I use salted and European-style)
- 1 bag marshmallows
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- Festive sprinkles sprinkles
- Maldon salt to finish
Directions:
Butter a baking dish. Slowly brown the butter in a medium sized pot - it will foam, then the foam will diminish and you will notice little brown speckles at the bottom of the pot - do not cook past this point or it will burn (about 3 minutes).
Turn off the heat, stir in the marshmellows and salt. Stir until the marshmellows are almost completely melted (or as melted as they will get). Turn the heat back on low and continue melting the marshmellows - NYT has taught us that it's better to still have some chunks rather than overcook them as they will become hard rice krispie treats.
Add the vanilla, then the rice krispie cereal - using a silicone spatula to fold everything together.
Pour the mixture into your prepared dish. The less you press down, the fluffier they will be. If you like them dense (not my cup of tea) then press them firmly into the pan. While they're still warm top with your sprinkles of choice.

Entertainment I'm Loving
A compelling true portrait of Rose Valland, the French curator who secretly documented— and ultimately helped recover — thousands of Europe’s greatest artworks during WWII. The book beautifully blends art history with real-life espionage, revealing how one woman’s quiet bravery protected irreplaceable cultural treasures. A captivating read for anyone who loves hidden history, museums, and the power of art to endure.
