Entertainment I’m Loving:
The Farm has been completely lacking access to any entertainment because of the recent ice storm that took power out for an entire three weeks! We lost a lot of inventory and time but we are finally back in the grid! This is Farm life I guess? There are so many downed trees, my dad and brother are now going through and chopping them down which feels like a futile exercise on an 80-acre farm.
Beauty I’m Loving:
I finally tried the viral Beauty of Joseon sunscreen and it actually lives up to the hype! It is such a weightless formula, blends beautifully into the skin, doesn’t pill or leave any white cast. It’s actually the perfect sunscreen - highly recommend! Just order it before you NEED it because it does take a while to arrive.
Recipe I’m Loving
This recipe takes me back home to The Keg - an epic steakhouse chain in Canada with a cult fav dessert: Billy Miner Pie. My family and I recreated this weekend and deconstructed it into a delicious, easy and perfect summer dessert recipe that you will absolutely love!
Deconstructed Billy Miner Pie Recipe
In a bowl place:
- Two scoops coffee ice cream
- Crushed oreos
- Toasted Slivered Almonds
- Drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauce
What I’m Reminding Myself:
We have to love ourselves to give love to others - seems simple, and like the other hardest things in life, is deceivingly challenging.
