Beauty I’m Loving:
A master aesthetician recently told me that she uses our Eye Petals: Reusable Eye Patches to treat scarring and that is just beyond brilliant! Since they’re made from 100% silicone they have the same function as a silicone scar patch: create a protective barrier, hydrate scar tissue, regulate collagen production and reduce the appearance of the scar by making it flatter and softer. I will be testing this out on the big cooking burn I got on my arm!
Entertainment I’m Loving:
I must admit I binged the entire season 3 of Traitors this week. It had me laughing, crying and gasping all the way through! It was a good cast of some Bravo favs with some unexpected twists but mostly it was just lighthearted and entertaining.
Recipe I’m Loving
I found the recipe for the famous Eleven Madison Park granola and it is SO delicious I can’t stop making it (or snacking on it). I made a few tweaks to the recipe like subbing brown sugar for coconut sugar, so see below to see the full recipe that you will be obsessed with!
Ingredients:
160 grams rolled oats (1.375 cups)
1/2 cup pistachios (shelled)
2 tbs pumpkin seeds
1/2 tbs salt
1/4 cup brown coconut sugar
2 tbs + 2 tsp maple syrup (add more if you want it to stay in larger chunks vs crumbly granola)
2 tbs + 2 tsp olive oil
54 grams sour dried cherries (sub for any dried fruit that you love)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 300. Mix together oats, pistachios, pumpkin seeds and salt. In a small pan warm the sugar, maple syrup, and olive oil until melted together. Mix the liquids into the oat mixture until everything is coated. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the granola mixture onto the sheet. Bake until lightly golden, about 30-40 minutes. You can stir it a few times throughout. Once removed, mix in the dried fruit and allow to cool before storing.
What We’re Reminding Ourselves:
Don’t forget to put on body moisturizer - it may feel tedious but you will feel so much better come shorts/dress season with glowing, hydrated skin!
Until next week! xo Amandine
