The Farmhouse Edit: Edition 14

Hi friends!

Welcome to the fourteenth edition of The Farmhouse Edit: where we share what we’ve been coveting and discovering, from the best of beauty and beyond. Let’s dive in!

A Moment We’re Celebrating

Our stunning reusable Eye Petals are now available to purchase at all Erewhon locations in LA! BUT that’s not it! You can now also shop Inner Glow and Dew Dream and one of New York’s COOLEST spots - Happier Grocery! They have an incredible selection of niche beauty and grocery items. I’m extremely honoured to say the least!

What We’re Cooking:

This mediterranean meal got RAVE reviews from my husband who is a very tough crowd to please *eye roll*. I followed a great marinated chicken recipe, then sliced and seared it for a delicious crips, followed by a simple greek salad, pita, and some dips. I will be eating this on repeat all month long!

What We’re Reading:

I absolutely love David Sedaris books - he’s my go-to whenever I want something light, enlightening, and funny. His latest book, Happy Go Lucky, is nothing short of that. I’ve probably mentioned it before, likely because he’s really one of my fav authors. Highly recommend!

Beauty Product We’re Loving:

I’m happy to report the Dior lip balm I mentioned two weeks ago finally arrived, and the berry colour is PERFECT! In recent news, my skin has been incredibly dry thanks to the weather and testing out some new actives to treat this lovely hormonal acne I’ve been experiencing. Biafine has been the only thing to hydrate and soothe my skin without clogging it and making it so greasy. It’s hard to find but worth the hunt! If you happen to be in France, grab 10.

What We’re Reminding Ourselves:

I’ve been reminding myself and the people around me (much to their annoyance I’m sure) that we need to focus more on what we can control, and do way with hyper-fixating on what we can’t, which is honestly most things in life. Easier said than done, I know, but once you allow yourself to not spend hours spiralling and stressing about what other people think, feel, or are doing (none of which you can change or control), you’re really free to be creative, present, and there for yourself. The amount of time and energy I waste thinking about things that are so far out of the realm of my control is truly silly, so I’m really trying to just push those thoughts out and stay present all. year. long. I don’t want to miss a moment!

Until next week! xo Amandine
