The Farmhouse Edit: Edition 04

Welcome to the fourth edition of The Farmhouse Edit: a weekly edit of the things I’m loving from products to recipes and everything in between. Let’s dive in!

What Beauty We're Loving:

It’s only fitting that our favorite beauty product of the week is Inner Glow, our very own nepo baby. But she earned this position. Inner glow is the perfect transitional skincare product - it’s been lightweight enough to use all summer, and will herald us into fall and winter without a dry patch of skin in sight. Come fall and winter we like to up our dosage; instead of using 2-3 drops we’ll bump it up to 3-4 for extra nourishment, and even 4+ in the evening to create an overnight sleeping mask. Inner Glow is an occlusive, meaning it keeps the hydration in your skin and deters it from evaporating off. This makes it perfect for dry winter nights - just slather on Inner Glow and wake up a glazed donut.

What We're Listening To:

Fashion journalist, and fellow Canadian, Mosha Lundström Halbert invites listeners backstage for the conversations dominating the fashion industry these days on her new podcast NEWSFASH. We're loving the insider wisdom and much needed dose of sass from Mosha.

What We're Cooking:

I found this delicious whole roasted Peruvian style chicken on Kristin Cavallari's TikTok, made it instantly, and it has now become a weekly staple. Easy ingredients and prep, but oh so delicious outcome. Don't even get me started on that green sauce. I even made it on TikTok - THAT'S how good it is.

What We're Reading:

Glossy: Ambition, Beauty, and the Inside Story of Emily Weiss's Glossier. We all saw the rise, and subsequent stagnation, of Glossier, so getting a peek behind the scenes of what really went down is all the more fascinating.

What We're Reminding Ourselves:

To get a skin check. Boring, we know, but post-summer days in the sun we must remind you the importance of getting frequent skin checks. That weird little freckle deserves a visit to the derm.
